The train slowly pulled in to the dimly lit subway station, as I peered around at the old graffiti, the Universal Union propaganda, and the advertisements of another generation without the oppressive tones of totalitarianism. I stepped outside of the train, and glanced toward the turnstiles that were laying on the ground unused, with a lit up path ahead. I followed it down and out to a small brick hallway, and went to my left. The darkness and blinding downpour made the city seem like a drowned puddle of souls.


I'm assuming you wonder why this book is titled as "S.O. 34440". Well, my name is Simon Orwell. My citizen ID is 34440. If you've ever read a journal or diary you found on the sodden streets of this city, you'll know I've lost my journal. anyway
My current residence is City Eleven City Twenty three. The year is 2017 2018. I came from a ranch in southern Ireland, and ended up here, in this rathole of a "City". There's no way I'd be able to finish this, as I have lost it or possibly went missing and labeled as an anti-citizen. So, As I was saying. The city was experiencing a downpour of acid rain, due to the UU factories that stalkers operated. As I walked out, I took shelter in a small abandoned shop on the main street, the kind of shop that you would expect to find junkies squatting in. An officer in a trenchcoat, riot gear, some sort of buckshot firearm, an electro-baton, a backpack, kevlar armor, and a mask that looked like it made the skull sink inward, with glowing red lenses that seem to peer into your soul.


It scared the shit out of me.

Seeing as you've already assigned it a song without having finished/read through it yet, but still felt like posting it on the forums without even beginning to describe a character... I'm not entirely sure where you're coming from with the 'logic' bit. I can understand wanting criticism while it's in progress, but that's like publishing a book that only has the first chapter written followed by hundreds of blank pages worth of potential, and expecting people who wanted a good read to help you refine it without complaining about wasting their time.

The fact that Duck lacks the general common sense to see that it's obviously unfinished. It didn't get anywhere, so the chances of it are that it's a work in progress, also, it's a fucking story, stop criticizing it like it's one of your applications, the forum posters shouldn't have a negative sense of insecurity about posting, we already dealt with that since bowlin has been banned, we don't need any others, especially since you hold an obvious grudge against John.

Also, there's no save work option on this forum of ours, so the odds in and out that it's better to save your work on the forums rather than exiting out of the tab by accident and losing all of the work, I heard you and Jordan complaining over Skype about this certain unforgetful and traumatizing incident, so I would expect you to understand much more clear than others would.

Also, if you read good stories, it usually starts with a sense of anonymity, which is what John succeeded to do, with both the title and the story itself, so give the guy a break, you too as well CandleJack, the only thing I've ever seen John say to you was related to his picture of him and his girlfriend, sure, the post looks like an egomaniac was trying to get attention, and John tends to do that, but saying more shit to him doesn't help.
